Q: What is anal sex?
A: Anal sex is stimulation of the anus or anal regions during sexual activity. This can be in the form of non-penetrative anal touching which is normally done by the the hands, fingers or mouth (during oral sex) , or anal penetration done with the fingers, penis, an anal toy or dildo.
Q: Why do some people like anal sex and stimulation and others don’t?
A: Some people (both men & women) love it anal sex and find it an incredible turn on and others hate it and find it disgusting act and feel that it is unnatural and even evil.
Q: What causes these two extreme viewpoints?
A: For many for many who are not fond of anal sex it could be caused by religious indoctrination and upbringing, hearing of negative experiences from friends and others, having a negative and or painful first time anal experience.
Sexual experiences are very subjective and personal and are filtered through our personal belief systems. As in the case of anal sex many of the qualities that some find disgusting are the same that other find exciting. The forbidden aspect is a turn of for many people. Some people also feel that anal intercourse is a more intimate act than vaginal intercourse.
There is also the fact that many women have their most intense orgasms when anal stimulation is applied either during vaginal-oral sex, or vaginal intercourse. There are also many women that who do not have orgasms during vaginal intercourse, but do have orgasms during anal intercourse.

“ Can't say - if anything I would dislike the fact that the hole is not large enough and could result in bleeding or worse. Also, pretty gross things come out of that hole.”

“Personally, I don't think I'd enjoy actual anal sex. But we've tried fingering and the mutual feeling is that it only feels good at the rim (just beginning to go in). When my boyfriend masturbates, he enjoys it when I play with his asshole.”

As you can see the responses range all across the board. Many women are not even open to trying it and others like it occasionally and still some love it and prefer it to vaginal intercourse. Most women who do not like it have either never tried it or tried it with a partner that did not know what they were doing.
